IAP DONATES BOOKS TO BELIZE LIBRARY
We are pleased to announce that, through our partnership with WORD AT WORK, we have completed our first donation of books to a library in Belize. In the first of what we hope will be many such transactions, we gave nearly 1,000 new books to the Univesity of Belize Library - for use by the students, faculty and general public. "I would like to see this be a well equipped library/school for this community of people in need" said George Johnson, Publisher.
Tim Tam, director of Word at Work, explains further: "They have degee progams in education and Management but their resourses are very limited. The library collection is small and textbooks for students are difficult to come by, usually must be rented to students."
Erwin Woodye, Jr., Chief Librarian for UB, agrees and is also very excited our new partnership: "Undoubtedly, these books will be very helpful and beneficial, and will add tremendously to our collection
