IAP Book Wins Two Prestigious Awards
We are pleased to announce that Personal ~ Passionate ~ Participatory: Inquiry into Social Justice in Education has was two prestigious awards:
AESA 2010 CRITIC'S CHOICE AWARD
Each year, a committee of AESA members selects a number of titles it regards as outstanding books that may be of interest to those in educational studies. These books are designated as AESA Critics’ Choice Award winners and are displayed prominently at the annual meeting.
The Critics’ Choice Award serves to recognize and increase awareness of recent scholarship deemed to be outstanding in its field and of potential interest to members of the Association.
2009 AERA DIVISION B OUTSTANDING BOOK
The AERA Division B (Curriculum Studies) Outstanding Book Award Committee has chosen the following books and authors as recipients of the Division B Award. We focused on the significant strengths present in the nominated texts and believe each makes a contribution to the spirit of diversity and cooperation in the curriculum field.
