Guidelines for Submitting a Manuscript
Submit four copies of your manuscript, typed double-spaced on 8½ x 11 paper.
Manuscripts should be between 10 and 30 pages in length and must conform to the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed.).
Research Briefs may be shorter, normally between 3-10 pages.
The name(s), affiliation(s), address(es), and phone, fax, e-mail address(es), and a brief biography of the author(s) should appear on a separate cover page.
To ensure anonymity in the review process, names of author(s) should not appear elsewhere in the manuscript, except in appropriate citations.
An Abstract of 100 words should also be submitted and typed on a separate page.
Printed documents should also be submitted on a PC formatted 3½” floppy disk or CD, using a recent version of Microsoft Word. The disk should be clearly labeled with the author(s) name(s) and name and version of the word processing program used.
Include an RTF version of the document.
Graphics should be in a separate file, clearly labeled, not included as part of the Word document.
Manuscripts will be reviewed by at least three consulting editors. This process normally takes from 3-4 months.
