Olga Epitropaki is Professor of Management at Durham University Business School, Durham University, U.K. She has research interests in the areas of leadership and identity, Implicit Leadership Theories (ILTs), Leader-Member Exchange (LMX), creative leadership, as well as psychological contracts and employability. She is also the founder and organizer of the annual 'Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Leadership Symposium' (www.leadership-symposium.com). She received her PhD from Cardiff University and won the 2001 Jepson School Award for Outstanding Dissertations in Leadership Studies for her doctoral thesis. Her research has been published in top refereed journals, such as the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, the Leadership Quarterly, Personnel Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, among others. She has received the 'Group and Organization Management' 2016 Outstanding Paper award, the 2015 AMBA MBA Innovation award and was Finalist for the Academy of Management Annals 2015 Best Article Award, among others. She is Senior Associate Editor of the Leadership Quarterly and member of several Editorial Boards.
