IAP BOOK SERIES
Selected Topics in Language and Linguistics
Language and linguistics is a vast and diverse field of study that encompasses many subdisciplines, perspectives, and methodologies. However, not all topics receive the same amount of attention and coverage in the existing literature, and some may be overlooked or underrepresented. The book series Selected Topics in Language and Linguistics aims to fill this gap by providing a platform for original and innovative research on specific areas of language and linguistics that are of current interest and relevance, but may not have received enough exposure or recognition in the mainstream publications. The series welcomes contributions from both established and emerging scholars, as well as interdisciplinary and cross-cultural approaches, that explore new theoretical, empirical, or applied aspects of language and linguistics. The series covers a wide range of topics, such as language variation and change, language contact and multilingualism, language policy and planning, language teaching and learning, language testing and assessment, discourse analysis and pragmatics, corpus linguistics and computational linguistics, sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics, phonetics and phonology, morphology and syntax, semantics and logic, historical linguistics and linguistic typology, among others. The series is intended for researchers, students, teachers, and practitioners who are interested in expanding their knowledge and understanding of the diversity and complexity of language and linguistics.
