Chance W. Lewis
University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Chance W. Lewis, Ph.D is the Carol Grotnes Belk Distinguished Professor of Urban Education and Director of The Urban Education Collaborative at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is also the Founder and Director of the International Conference on Urban Education. Dr. Lewis has over 100 publications including 70+ refereed journal articles in the leading academic journals in urban education. He has received over $7 million in external research funds. To date, Dr. Lewis has authored/co-authored/co-edited 20 books.
Dr. Lewis will serve as the Director of the Academic Publishing Partnership Program in Urban Education and Black Studies at Information Age Publishing.
