Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies
The series in Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies will explore the future of work, career readiness, industry credentialing. The future of the workforce is complex that academic and industry organizations are shying away from addressing the multifaceted barriers and challenges that employers, employees, and students face in the labor market. The OWLS series will examine the intersection in which training and development, employment, jobs programs, and higher education can improve economic mobility and self-efficacy for individuals and families across the globe. The OWLS series will explore traditional and non-traditional ways to improve skills development for the unemployed, underemployed, and the job seeker. The series will be interwoven with the Human Occupation Project to promote and engage with passion and purpose across academics and industries broadly in workforce development and education that benefit human development. The books in this series will discuss the role of STEM education and micro-credentials in preparing the future workforce as well as the importance of soft skills and hard skills. The contributing authors and audiences for this series will be internationally and nationally.
